I got the inspiration for this track while watching the news. In 2019, Brexit was all over the media. And I remember former British PM Theresa May's 'strong and stable' mantra, and thinking how devoid of strength or stability politics has become.

Then I started to look at this 'strong and stable' myth in a new light. I saw it as one of the many lies that humans tell themselves in order to cultivate a false sense of security.

One morning, I was passively watching a church sermon that my mum likes to watch on Sundays, and the pastor kept mentioning the words 'strong nation'. So I thought it would be a good idea to integrate parts of his sermon into the track to make a parallel between the (slowly) decaying strength and stability of organised religion and the lack of stability in society at large.
