This is the first album to be released abroad! I released this one while I was in Athens, Greece. The artwork was taken there also.

This album takes heavy inspiration from musique concrete and sampledelia. I had been listening to a lot of 'My Life in the Bush of Ghosts' and Pierre Schaeffer's records while collecting material for this release.

I was also introduced to Umm Kulthum, Youssou N'Dour and Ali Farka Toure around this time, and I think that speaks to the global sound on the album.

A lot of the sounds and voices you hear were recorded while on the streets of Istanbul.

I also wanted this record to be heavy on percussion, similar to my previous release 'Power Complex'.

Looking back at this record, I think this is one of my more accessible experimental ones. Maybe.
