I believe it was around this time that I listened to Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music for the first time. Maybe.

It left quite an impression on me and this was my attempt to create something similar.

How I made this album was by recording a bunch of tracks while on the London Underground. I always found a strange musicality in the sounds of the wheels on the tracks while in motion and the trains going through the tunnels.

I eventually made about 40-50 tracks, some were cut into small segments, some were looped, I added reverb on some, others were reversed, distorted, pitched etc.

I think my intention with this EP was to create something as far removed from a lot of the music I hear on the radio.
